Campion Collage Orientation Day.

 It was the day the day to go to campion I was so excited and nervous I did not know what to expect I was lucky enough to have my friends Charlotte kinsford and Rosie sutherland there with me but I was going to miss the rest of my friends but I was excited of what we would do at campion when we arrived at campion by getting picked up we got to go into a space called the drama room there they tolled us about what would happen in the day and what to expect they tolled us about four activities that we could only chose three out of and they gave us time to discus Me,Charlotte and Rosie discus of doing a sport activity a baking and science sadly we decided we did not want to do art.  

Before going to do these activities we got morning tea which was chips and a apple then we got stuck in the first thing we did was science I was really interesting you would get like kiwifruit juice in a container then got the eye dropper and sucked up some of the juice then put it into a pallet then we got a reactor or tester and put some of that in and it would turn into a colour and that would tell you how much asid it had in it 14 was not very much and 0 was a lot.

Next we did cooking in the cooking activity we got to make chocolate chip cookies we got to follow a recipe and make chocolate chip cookies to eat in partners my partner was Rosie and we made the biscuits together.

Then last of all was sport in sport our teacher made us play a game of tick tack to with pads and hops I was in the green team and we one then our teacher showed us how to use the rock climbing wall the first one we used to practice went across then we used the actual rock one I had so much fun a campion and cant wait to start next year.

This a poem I did on this picture our teachers in the hub put up two different pictures I chose to write about this on It was really helpful to have this picture showing you could think of so many ideas and incorporate them into your writing.

Magical World

I could hear the river gently lapping against the riverbank

And the trees dancing in the wind, I could hear people laughing as they played in the

river splashing around.I heard a crash ! as a pan hit the floor this world was magic my face

was pressed

up against the window making white

magic like mist I could see kids jumping up and down like monkeys jumping for bananas

the different colours of the buildings were reflecting onto the river.

The buildings were as still as a statue but the river flowed ever so calmly.

This was magic sparkling magic I did not want it to ever end as the day grew on

magic was more alive than ever the sun set with orange and red sky the sun hiding

behind the fluffy candy floss blanket drifting off to sleep as the moon rose no creature

did sture as the magic came alive.

Poems

In the hub we have been writing poems and we got to write them about having a connection to something

I wrote mine about fish which is my star sign and if we could we got to make them rhyme being able to create these poems were great for me i got to express myself in making this poem and putting all my ideas to make this awesome piece. 

 

Pieces ( fish)

Beautiful colours all around I hear a voice, I hear a sound Splashing about in the colourful waves fishes of all colours come to play on this beautiful sunny day fishies swarm around me in blue , all these colours blinding me along with you.

Green coral swaying in the waves and little red crabs coming to play twisting and twirling and bobbing up and down big silver fishes, small yellow fishes all kinds of fishes swimming around twirling their tails feeling the grove the disco fish party came to town with all sorts of crowds coming around the fishes danced and waved to the end of the day, stopping the music, stopping the band the sunrise came above in the the sky it was time to say goodbye saying your prayers to the waves and fish for now it’s time to say goodbye.
