Tiles 

At makauri school we had an art week and one of our teachers Mr s invited us to make a plaster of paris tiles we  first had to get sand and put them in a ice cream container then we flattened them out with a box so that they had no cracks  after that we got to press shapes into them but we had to be careful not to crack our creations then our teacher Mr s put concreate over top to make plaster of paris then we had to wait the next day they were ready we spray painted then we got to paint them it was super fun making these creations and then showing them in our amazing art assembly.

At makauri we made t-shirts these show people things about us we added lots of colour and made it really fun it shows heaps of cool things about us like favrite movie,song,fruit,vege and lots more plus we got to add a awesome picture of us drawn by hand and by us wow it was awesome fun making these t-shirts and it shows people so many things about us that some people did not know I hope you enjoy what we have made and maybe you might have a go to.

confidence- what it is and what it is not

 Today in the hub at Makauri school  have been foucasing on what confidence is and what it is no we looked at a video of bobby and brain and then we got into groups of three to have a desiccation and write down on a peaice of paper what confidence is and what it is not.

To me confidence is : standing up for yourself,standing up for a friend, having good selfastem , being yourself,using your voice (talking in front of crowds), taking risks, believing in yourself,coming out of your comfort zone and not being afraid to make new friends. 

To me confidence is not Is being a bystander,trying to be someone else not you,being afraid to use your voice,being afraid to take a risk,being afraid to ask for help and being afraid to make a new friend.
